Just a reminder that The Future Fire [External Link] are crowdfunding another science fiction anthology. “Accessing The Future” will focus on dis/ability although there will be intersection with other issues that can cause problems with attaining equality. The Indiegogo campaign can be found here: [External Link].

The week before last, I set off their blog hop (Accessing The Future Fiction, The Journeymouse Edition). Having done so, I realised that I’ve been pretty poor at inclusivity in my fiction – specifically of dis/ability. So, last week, I posted the proof as I did a mini-audit of whether my own fiction was Accessing The Future worthy.

(This week, I shall be posting an action plan of how I can improve. To be taken with a pinch of salt, what with me being sound of body, only somewhat off neurotypical and definitely in a privileged position as white, middle class…)

And another reminder, this time about 25 Ways To Kill A Werewolf – the ebook will be available from August 15th. For the definitive updates, keep an eye on the Fox Spirit Books [External Link] site for announcements and links, although I’ll be updating as soon as I have everything confirmed and the ebook is available.

The opening section of 25 Ways To Kill A Werewolf was put up around here last week and this week there will be a giveaway for a copy of the ebook.

Finally, the Sunday Story reminder. Last week’s Sunday Story was Baba Yaga, first put up back in June 2010 – and this week’s is Sanctuary, which was published in December 2010.
